The Japanese Art of Acceptance
I love learning new words with rich, expansive meanings, Beauties. Don't you?
Somehow non-English words seem to hold more delicate flavours... beautiful sounds... delightful textures... To me, anyway.
It’s a day of love for The Beloved and me… our anniversary.
The times we are living in are absolutely unprecedented, Beauties, aren't they?
What if... for the first time in your life... you let things be really good?
✨And perhaps what makes her beautiful
I get excited by learning new words.
Apparently, with all the possible varieties and combinations we can utilise in all the ways we communicate, the majority of us around the world only choose to use a total of 500 words. Isn't that something?!
Being in this lockdown period has given us the joy… and perhaps discomfort… of spending more time than usual with our beloveds. How has that shown up for you, Beauties?
✨It's time to no longer wait for a special occasion... burn the best candles on ordinary days.
✨It's time to no longer wait for the house to be clean... fill it with people who understand that even dust is Sacred.
There's a phrase you may have been hearing lately, Beauties: "holding space".
What does that really mean?
When was the last time you checked in with yourself... did some mirror work... reminded yourself of the glorious Being of Light that you are?
Been a little while, has it?
Let's do some remembering, Beauties.
I've been thinking about those of us highly sensitive beings, and how to thrive with joy in the midst of so much uncertainty these days, Beauties.
Shifts and yet more shifts continue on this fascinating journey, Beauties ~ are you sensing them too?
I'm feeling so inspired ~ to breathe... to centre and calm... to see with new eyes...
The Beloved and I have taken 30 days of our lives, and gifted ourselves with the rest and healing of a water fast.
And we’re now just beginning the introduction to fruits ~ very slowly, savouring each juicy moment, gradually waking up the intestines once again. Very gently, very slowly.
💛With nowhere to go, we meet ourselves.
This is where we have been going all along.
(Gratitude brings you fuel for future manifestations)
What was your life like 12 months ago, Beauties?
What have you learned?
You know the feeling, don't you?
Those quick gasping little breaths; alternately breath held and body frozen.
We’re beginning to emerge from our cocoons, Beauties.
Have you found your purpose?
Your reason for living in this time… right now?
I’d like to offer my thoughts here:
The Beloved and I have really appreciated the gift of so much quiet and peace in our lives, and we found ourselves a tad disappointed when more vehicles began racing up and down the motorway ~ when queues at McDonald’s were 2 km down the street ~ when fast food takeaway places were closed by the police due to the extreme queues and inability of people to continue remaining in safe space.
Wow, so not what we were expecting.
We've made it to Level 3 here, and I've been thinking about change.
We obviously have had to change on many levels over these past four weeks; but I'm more interested in the changes that sometimes we delay making for fear of the unknown… or because we feel set in our comfortable (or perhaps familiar?) ways… for any number of personal reasons.
Change that is needed but delayed.
