I have thought a good deal this past year, and come up with a very simple five-step plan that raises your frequency with your short-term health... longevity and vitality... weight loss... and greatly improved health.
We've all faced incredible challenges over this past year: coronavirus challenges in all forms, including anxiety / stress / overeating / trying to over-comfort ourselves in an attempt to get back into balance...
Here's what I know, Beauties: No matter where you are in regards to your current health situation, you can improve your health in just a few simple steps and without spending any money ~ in reality, it will save you money on food and healthcare!
Are you ready?
Just remember CHANGE is 💛intentional... 💛Be patient... 💛Love yourself... and 💛BREATHE...
💛STEP ONE ~ MEDITATION
Before you ever start any journey of CHANGE, Beauties, get yourself mentally prepared. Change is intentional and you will need all the help you can get in order to be successful in your change. Change is so well worth it when you get to where you are going!
My breakthrough moment was when I changed my attitude about biking uphill. Instead of dreading the uphill run whilst enjoying the downhill side, I've chosen to "embrace" the uphill. Most of life is spent moving uphill in one way or another, isn't it? I wanted my joy to be the period where I spend most of my time. The practice of meditation is the key to success. Take 10 - 30 min a day to get yourself “inline” mentally... and you will change your health. It is clinically proven meditation has a direct impact on your health AND longevity.
💛STEP TWO - START FASTING TODAY
Fasting is easy, Beauties! It saves you time... it saves you money... and you can start today...
Humans have been fasting for thousands of years for religious and health reasons. It was not up until recently that western society stopped the practice of fasting. Coincidentally, we have seen a massive rise in obesity and serious health challenges during this same period. Fasting works for most individuals of normal weight and above.
For those looking for a weight loss program, start with 24 fast (water only) / 12 hrs feeding window - then extend to 36 fast / 12 hrs feed. then go to 48 hrs fast / 12 feed. then go to 72 hrs fast / 12 hrs feed. During your eating day - eat normally in order to keep your metabolism up. You cut calories and you cut metabolism. Just experiment. Do this for a month. If it works stick with it. For a more intense result, that also begins the process of stem cell regeneration, begin your transition (SLOWLY!) to a 7-day dry fast every six months. There is a marvellous book written by August Dunn: "The Phoenix Protocol" which details the process ~ and the understanding ~ behind this type of radical fast. It's based on the 30-years of work done by Russian medical doctors in healing the most severe health challenges faced today. Not for the faint of heart, Beauties, as it brings up every piece of distorted "truth" we've all been taught since childhood... like we cannot survive for more than 3 days without water.
I personally have accomplished four of these dryfasts, the Beloved has accomplished dryfasting, as have several of our patients and friends. We will, in the future, be setting up a programme to assist those who would appreciate support during this process.
💛STEP THREE - FOOD (Gut Health)
I highly recommend a vegan and preferably a whole food plant-based diet, high in fermented foods, to feed the body and the bacteria in your gut. There are other food strategies that work for weight loss or diabetes ~ but most fall short when it comes to longevity and optimal health. Research by many of the world's experts on longevity shows plants offers us the best opportunity for maximum health, maximum performance, maximum longevity and maximum benefit to the earth and humanity. All five “Blue Zones” across the world consume a primarily local, seasonal plant-based diet.
💛STEP FOUR - FITNESS
Resistance (external and body weight) and aerobic (brisk to fast walking, elliptical, running, swimming, cycling) 3–5 times per week as often as you can. Work up to 30 or more min per session. The more you exercise, the more happy endorphins course through your body! Greet the day with yoga... jump in the ocean and take a brisk run on the beach... take your bike and explore the hills and valleys around your home.
And schedule some more self-love in here with massages! Along with a great blood flow, it's wonderful to also get the lymph moving...
💛STEP FIVE - FAMILY
Relatives... friends... community are keys to your success over the short and long terms. Get help from those that have made the journey before you. Get others to take the journey with you. Join a local support group that will guide you and gives you stability as you make this life-changing journey. Fiind your tribe: online... in your community... When you begin a journey, not only is it more fun, it's actually incredibly healthy to elicit support from those that love and wish the best for you. End result: you'll be more successful!
